One street over. Because I’m very rural. Had to walk by two abandoned houses to get to it.

Huh, didn’t realize you were quite that middle-of-nowhere. I’m fairly rural in the sense I’m nowhere near a big city, but there are three towns within 10 minutes of us...Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Bridgewater...Mahone Bay and Lburg are small population -wise, but major tourist destinations. Bwater is the sortof local commercial center.

Oh, I'm super rural. I live in a town of 280, need to drive half an hour for groceries, and my nearest traffic light is an hour and a half drive away.

When I met my future wife, she said she was from a small town in South Texas. How small? Well the mall.... Yeah, stop right there.

Growing up, it was 45 minutes to the grocery store and we didn’t get a stoplight until I was a junior in high school.

There are times I really miss it. We were in a mostly rural area 10 years ago, but suburbia caught up and swallowed our little neighborhood. It’s time to move!

There are some things I like about it. Having only two neighbours and having no one behind me is rad. But I wish there was more to do closer.

Granted, going back to Toronto in the fall is going to be a culture shock.
